Satoyama is a project that explores how capturing rainwater on site can act as a catalyst for ecological restoration, generational knowledge sharing, and mindful stewardship. Based on the Japanese concept of “Ma” which refers to the space between objects or elements, as water flows between the elements of the site, it connects land, history, and people in moments of quiet reflection and verdant possibility.
